First Thursday Discussions
First Thursday Discussions
March 6, 2025 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Gallery Erato, 309 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98104, USA
The Pan Eros Foundation is pleased to create space for people to meet, talk, and share conversation and ideas. Each month, Pan Eros will host a discussion at Gallery Erato with a different topic to encourage the sharing of ideas and to create and expand communities. Pan Eros means “all love” and we support participants in cultivating and celebrating their sexuality. To support this mission, our monthly discussion topics will range among the educational and artistic realms.
March's topic is "Bonds of Love" with Jim Duvall. Jim will discuss using kink and bdsm activities to tell a story about relationship dynamics.
Jim Duvall is a sexuality activist who has volunteered for many organizations over the years, including founding the Center for Sex Positive Culture and Seattle Erotic Art Festival, and served on the board of directors for the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom and the Pan Eros Foundation. Jim teaches on a variety of topics from consent to erotic photography to rope bondage all over North America. Currently, they work as a fine art photographer in Seattle, WA.
Our goal in hosting these meetings is to grow a community that has rich conversations about sexuality. By fostering open discussions, we hope to end the stigma around sex and sexuality so that people may live more authentically and happily.
All sexes, genders, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, relationship orientations, and religions are welcome and celebrated. Kindness and a willingness to respect another point of view are expected.

Bondage for Beginners
March 8, 2025 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Gallery Erato, 309 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98104, USA
Purchase tickets here!
Interested in adding some bondage to your life but not sure where to start? This fun and accessible introductory class will introduce you to the basics of kink and rope bondage. By the time you’re done you’ll have all the skills you need to safely and confidently start exploring bondage on your own.
This is a bondage class rather than a knots class, so our focus is on teaching a small number of versatile techniques that you can use in all kinds of ways. All the ties in the class are easy to learn and can be used for many different play styles.
The point of bondage is to connect with your partner, so we’ll also cover fundamental kink concepts like consent, safewords, negotiation, and aftercare. To help you put it all together, we’ll have fun demos of the techniques in action, along with suggestions for how to figure out what kind of kink works best for you.
Single students are welcome, but this class is most fun if you take it with a partner. We’ll provide practice rope if you don’t have your own. The 38 page color handout includes all the class material as well as additional ties to practice at home.
COVID Protocols:
We will announce the masking policy four weeks before the class. If you buy tickets for a class before the covid policy has been finalized, please understand that masks may or may not be required.

Queering Tantra presents Pleasure and Healing: genital massage, breathwork, and tantric meditation for better, more connected sex. Part Two
March 16, 2025 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
309 1st Ave S. Seattle, WA 98104
Purchase tickets here!
Join Rogue Ryder for this couples (or moresomes) workshop to learn tantric massage and meditation, somatic curiosity and breathwork, as avenues to discover yourself and your partner(s) in a new and ever-unfolding way! Using meditation we cultivate practice with ourselves and explore focusing our attention where we would like it to go. Using touch we connect ourselves to another to be curious and explore sensations and pleasure. Using breathwork we access alternative ways to be present with a partner. This workshop is for couples(or moresomes), straight and queer, who desire to: learn more about their anatomy, rewrite sexual societal and gendered scripts, learn genital massage for pleasure and healing (practicing on partner(s), connect more deeply with partners, and meditation techniques.
This workshop is a three-parter* and gender expansive. Each 4 hour workshop includes guided practice, live demonstration, and lab time. Using touch, curiosity, and breath you will be taught multi-step tools for learning and noticing what sensations, wounding, and pleasure potential you store in your pelvic floor and genital tissue.
*You do not need to attend all 3 workshops. It is recommended you attend at least one massage workshop and the follow-up for Q&A and more practice time.
Please feel free to contact me with questions at Rogueryder@queeringtantra.com
Part Two:
We will go over couples connection breathwork again for practice, meditation(adding more advanced elements for returning students), body curiosity and communication and Penis/pelvic massage. This massage will go over the anatomy of the pelvic floor surrounding the penis, and all external anatomy, for pleasure and discomfort/numbness mapping.
NOTE: (While we will be focusing one day on each of the binaried gendered genitals for massage, you are encouraged to show up for what aligns most with your gender expression and desire for discovery. While I use descriptive terms here, in workshop we can use a breadth of words to describe whatever the colorful spectrum of people who attend call their anatomy! AND nothing is required, if you have a vulva and do not like penetration, you can practice only what you feel comfortable with and you will still find value in attending.).
Important Information:
- Pay-what-you-can scholarships are available for all Pan Eros Foundation workshops. If you need financial assistance, please email Leah at education@pan-eros.org
- No late entry will be allowed due to the intimate nature of this workshop. Doors will be locked at 10 minutes after the start time.

- Attendance is limited to 8 duos.
- All sexes, genders, races, ethnicities, bodies, body types, sexual orientations, relationship orientations, abilities welcome and celebrated.
- Please let us know by email if you have any access needs or things that would aid in your learning.
- Questions may be directed to: education@pan-eros.org
About the Educator:
Rogue is a queer, kinky, genderfucked sensual educator, pleasure excavator, and tantric guide; a multi-ethnic performer, artist, and athlete. As such, they were fed up with tantra being dominated by cis-het dudes in linen pants, and people spiritually bypassing very real worldly traumas. They started Queering Tantra 8 years ago as sensual guidance for the whole person to step outside the dominant societal norms of most sex and tantra. The queering lens gives us more freedom and accessibility, for all bodies and sexualities.
Their practice combines BDSM/kink, Tibetan tantra, somatic awareness, breathwork, movement, and a number of other tools. As a certified athletic trainer with a background in dance, combat sports, and rock climbing, they bring a very unique mixture of play, practice, and praxis to all their work.

Seattle Nude, Erotic + Boudoir Photography Group
March 23, 2025 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Seattle Nude, Erotic + Boudoir Photography Group
Monthly Open-Shoot Meetup 4th Sunday of every month (Beginning January 23rd, 2022) 5:00pm-8:30pm Hosted at Gallery Erato 309 1st Ave S Seattle, WA 98104 Info: snebp@pan-eros.org
Overview Seattle Nude, Erotic + Boudoir Photography Group exists to facilitate networking and the creation of art in the PNW photography and modeling communities while providing a safer, semi-public space to have first or repeated interactions with co-creators. Beginning January 23rd, 2022 the group organizer, Thrice, will be running a monthly meetup where we discuss and shoot nude, erotic, and boudoir photos, share knowledge and inspiration, and network with others in our creative communities.
First hour free 5-6pm $10 per person 6-830pm
What to Expect After an initial hour of mingling and conspiring, all the fun and excitement of creation starts when we close the doors at 6pm. Come introduce yourself, mingle and meet, then we will collect the event fee and shooting can begin. At this point, no more attendees will be admitted so no new faces surprise you while you’re shooting. Some gear will be available to rent or borrow, we will go through the available supplies at the start of the event.
Open Shoot Format Throughout the event, photographers, assistants, and models will use the large, versatile shooting space to collaborate, have fun, and make art. Come with an idea in mind and a photographer in tow or meet someone here and come up with a spontaneous shoot inspired by the surroundings and your model’s style. Bring all your own gear, ready to shoot, and explore the space to find the perfect spot. Take advantage of any down time to connect with your fellow creatives, find inspiration, share your knowledge and experience.
Consent + Consideration Make sure that you have the consent of all bodies in your frame before you shoot. Watch your backgrounds and try not to walk through active shooting space you’re not participating in as a courtesy to all. Lingerie, suggested nudity, and nonsexual nudity are welcome throughout the space. We ask that explicit or overtly sexual acts (use your judgement, ask if you’re not sure) be shot downstairs. We will continually evaluate the ways we use the space and adjust for the comfort and needs of our community to best facilitate free creation. No one is required to shoot with anyone else or to shoot any content they do not wish to participate in. Pressure is unacceptable, both photographers and models are expected to take “No” as a complete sentence any time it is given.
Our Hosts + Facility Gallery Erato and the Pan Eros Foundation are pleased to offer those who create art that explores themes of sexuality, gender, relationships, identity, orientation, and love a place to showcase and create their work. This 6000+ square foot space in Pioneer Square spans 2 floors. The ground floor Gallery is fully accessible. There is a 3″ lip at the front entry and a ramp is available upon request. The lower level Studio is currently only accessible by stairs. We encourage the use of public transit or rideshare.
309 1st Ave S Seattle, WA 98104 https://www.pan-eros.org/galleryerato/
COVID Precautions As per King County guidelines, all attendees must present a valid vaccination record or negative test results within 72 hours of the event start time. Wash your hands frequently, keep your distance whenever possible, wear masks if you’re not modeling, and consider your COVID precautions when sharing gear. Sanitizer will be available throughout the event for hands and equipment.
